What does LOTO mean?
LOTO is the acronym for Lake of the Ozarks.
WHAT IS A TRITOON?
A Tritoon is a pontoon boat with 3rd pontoon added in the center for better balance, more load capacity, and better cornering.
WHO DRIVES THE BOAT?
You do or one of your designated crew members. Driver must be 18 and persons born after Jan. 1, 1884 need to complete a Missouri State Boater Safety Course available on line: https://www.boat-ed.com/missouri/
A one time only 7 day Temporary Permit is available at our location $15. Arrive an additional 20 minutes early if you need this. No Boater safety course required if you hire a driver from our driver pool and there is no damage deposit if you use this driver service. Be sure to arrange a driver ahead of time! Active duty Military members are exempt. Just show active duty military ID.
WHAT’S THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY FOR YOUR BOATS?
Coast Guard Regulations restrict the number of passengers including the driver to 12 on rental boats no matter the capacity of the boat. If you hire a driver from the driver pool, yes that driver counts as one of the 12.
WHAT’S THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY FOR WAVERUNNERS?
Waverunners can carry 3 person up to 530 lbs. Safety concerns dictate that children must ride behind the driver.
CAN WE USE THE TRITOON BOATS TO TUBE OR FISH?
Yes people fish and tube all the time. We rent ski tubes and fishing rods. Sorry we do not sell bait.
WHERE CAN WE TAKE THE BOATS?
Service area is the Main Channel (Osage arm) from Bagnell Dam the Zero Mile Marker to Margaritaville the 26 mm. Also up the Gravois arm to Coconuts and up the Grand Glaize arm to the 6 mm to the Original Party Cove.
Operating outside these areas is not recommended. Vessels from LOTO Boat Rental may not to go to the shootout boat races.
Service area subject to change without notice due to weather, flooding, debris or event concerns. Any change to the service area requested by customer must be approved in writing by Capt. Mark. Sorry no exceptions.
WHERE CAN WE TAKE THE JET SKI?
Jet Ski Service Area is from our location to the east into the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks State Park to the Original Party Cove 6mm Grand Glaize Arm. This service area may be adjusted. Be sure to inquire when making your reservation. Jet ski’s may not go to water bars unless a jet ski specific dock is provided. Jet Ski Service Area subject to change
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR A RENTAL?
A valid Driver license or State ID Card and a credit card for the damage deposit. No damage deposit required if you hire a driver from the driver pool.
DO I NEED A BOATING LICENSE TO RENT A WATERCRAFT?
If you are born after Jan 1, 1984 you are required to have completed the Missouri State Boater Safety Course to operate a boat or PWC on Missouri waterways. Take the course online: https://www.boat-ed.com/
Just boating for the week? A one time, temporary 7 day certificate is available at our location for $15.00. (Allow up to 30 minutes to obtain a Temp. Certificate. You may only do this once).

HOW MUCH IS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT?
Security Deposit for the new boats is $400, Everything else is $300 or Zero if you hire a driver from our driver pool.
Not to be confused with the down payment made at time of reservation. The damage/security deposit is only a hold on your credit card during your rental time and not charged unless vessel is damaged etc. It is taken off when vessel is returned in good condition.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?
Please note due to health concerns all previous advance and current reservations placed until further notice will enjoy No Fault Cancellation. NO FAULT CANCELLATION. If there are still health or travel concerns and you wish to cancel, 100% of your down payment will be happily refunded.
We clean and sanitize all equipment between each use.
All cancellations or changes must be made by phone no cancellations will be accepted via text or email. Advance Reservation Fee is refundable with 48 hrs. notice prior to Scheduled Check In Time except Holidays, Holiday Weekends and Event Weekends when it is 14 Days, or in the event of Inclement Weather, less 3.5% Credit Card Processing Fee. In the event of cancellation less than 48 hrs. prior or in the case of 14 Days for Holiday/Event Weekends to scheduled check in, the renter will forfeit the advance reservation fee and if we are unable to rent the watercraft to another party the renter will be responsible for the full rental fee. No shows will be charged full price
Standard Cancellation PolicyWeekday rentals (M-Th.) must be cancelled 48 hours prior to scheduled check in time.
Weekend rentals (F-S) must be cancelled 14 days prior to scheduled check in time. Holiday/Holiday weekends must be cancelled 14 days prior to scheduled check in time.
Refunds do not include the 8% credit card processing fee. If a cancellation is less than 48 hours (M-Th.) or14 Days for Weekends/Holiday prior to scheduled check in you will forfeit the reservation down payment.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT IS RAINING ON THE DAY OF MY RENTAL?
If it is a wash out for the day all advance payments will be refunded or if possible you may opt to reschedule If it is inclement for a portion of the day, your day’s charges may be prorated. LOTO Boat Rental is final arbitrator as to what constitutes a rain out.
GOOD WEATHER GUARANTEE For Multi Day Rentals. If any of your rental days is a complete washout, there is no charge for that day.
DO I NEED A RESERVATION?
Boats>>>while walk ups are welcome it is best to reserve Boats ahead of time.
Jet skis>>> reservations are a good idea especially if you want multiple days. Walk ups are welcome and filled on a 1st come 1st serve basis, subject to availability.
